Rachel of Portrait Playland has been kind enough to make March 7th Baby Eli day. She will be doing sessions in Eli's honor and donating the money to help out with his hospital and funeral expenses. Rita, I just wanted to let you kmow we are still praying for you and I went to see your Mom last night... and stayed until after 1 AM! We laughed, cried, talked and drank coffee till we were satisfied for the time being... I plan to go back in a day or two and we are going to stay in touch on the pone... I gave her today to rest again and will touch base with her again tomorrow... She knows I am here for her at any hour day or night... no exceptions... and I want you to know I am here for you too if you need or want to talk to me... I do not know you personally but maybe someday if I come to Houston to visit my family we can meet... We will also continue to pray for you and so will our church family....

Rita and Jason, I'm so very sorry for your loss of your beautiful son. The picture of Eli is precious...his smile would melt anyones heart. I heard about your loss through the August Honey Bees message board. No parent deserves to go through what the two of you are going through at this time. Your story has put things into perspective for me and I thank you for that. When I'm having to wake up every 2 hours with my baby I hug and kiss her knowing how lucky I am to have the opportunity to be with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
