We took some new flowers out for Eli today. I had found these this week at Michael's and fell in love with the bright colors. Crista arranged them yesterday and I think she did a great job. It was so hot out there today... We took Eli's flowers, plus some small bunches for some of the bare graves. I think we were able to put flowers on 6 or 7 of them. I hope to take more on our next visit. It was hard to be there today... So hard. I just miss him more and more every single day. Monday, May 25, 2009
Memorial Day

The flowers are beautiful - they are so cheery(!), even if you aren't. And what a nice gesture to brighten up the spots for others. You ARE making a difference.
I think about you so much and wish I could do something to speed up the miserable grief process.
Maybe you should get away and come check out the NC mountains :)
